The gig economy has worsened drastically in the past year, with companies like door dash becoming more greedy and corrupt after every millionth dollar they make. Everything was perfect in November of 2018: decent pay, easily available scheduling, no OVER SATURATION of DASHERS, etc. After 1 exhausting year of changes, changes, and more unnecessary changes from Door Dash and their ridiculous passive-aggressive policies, it has become impossible to work for door dash. Literally. As of September, I can no longer schedule a dash because they've given it all to 'early access' dashers, I get nothing but garbage 8 mile deliveries for $6 (and only a few in the span of a day, meaning I make less than $3 an hour) because they've given all of the other orders to 'top dashers'. On top of that, you can't even make it to the qualifications because the ratings system is broken; they force the ratings system upon the dashers but make NO effort to enforce it on customers (who by the way, never rate unless they had a negative experience, because there is no emphasis on the ratings from door dash, unlike Ubereats). And then, their ridiculous policy rules make it impossible to qualify anyways, because how am I supposed to make 100 deliveries in 1 month if they don't even send me enough orders? Last month I only made 57 deliveries in the 6 weeks I spent dashing, 8+ hours each day, all of them being horrible chump change $5-7 orders for 4-8 miles. All that gas, mileage, time and energy wasted for chump change. Please do not work for this company, they do not care about anyone but themselves, themore... support agents never help you, they are like robots reading scripts. Support Chat is a joke. The app itself is a joke, constant glitches that cost US the dashers MONEY, but they never fix them. Constant passive aggressive warnings and repercussions, waiting time in restaurants for $6 goes from 20 to 30 minutes, and Door Dash will not even compensate you for the time YOU wasted waiting. They do not pay per mile either. There are no benefits minus the optional third party 'stride', but it will never be like real job benefits. Plus at the end of the year: surprise surprise! You will have to pay taxes to the IRS for Door Dash. Don't say I didn't warn you!less
How to Pay on DoorDash on Android. This wikiHow teaches you how to pay for your DoorDash delivery when placing an order on your Android. You'll also learn how to add additional cards to your account by editing your account settings. Doordash.com hijacked 100s of local restaurant's menus and started offering delivery without any agreement from any of the local restaurants. Calling them gets them to remove your name and listing, but a link remains on my Google my business results page. I can edit it but it reappears almost immediately. Google says there's nothing they can do?
